Whether you’re looking for giggles, makeup inspiration, fashion inspiration, styling tips or nailing a smokey eye my Top 15 Snapchatters have you covered. It was so so hard to whittle down the list to 15 but I tried my best. I follow so many incredible people and it simply wasn’t possible to fit in everybody. My list includes topics like makeup, hair, blogging and fashion and if you’re not following any of these…YOU NEED TO BE!!! If you do know these girls you might see that they all have something in common – HONESTY! This is what I love most about each of them. People always bitch and moan about bloggers thinking they’re full of crap but really, you’re probably just following the wrong ones. I have linked each of their Facebook and Instagram accounts, so do make sure you give them a follow. The list is done in no particular order.
Sinead Kavanagh from thebeautifultruth.ie
In my opinion, Sinead Kavanagh is one of the best blogger out there. I have learned so much from her and she has given me invaluable advice over the past couple of years. I attended her Anseo Online Workshop last year and the difference it has made to my blog was phenomenal. I’d highly recommend attending one and if you want you can read all about it here => Run a Business or Blog? Take it to the next level with Anseo Online Bespoke Workshop .
Sinead always replies back to snaps/messages, which I really admire because some of the bigger bloggers wouldn’t bother. I trust all her product reviews 100% and she never leads me astray. I love how she talks about products she doesn’t rate and not just ones she loves. Just recently, Sinead launched her very own brand, Alainn, and the first product is a Customisable Organiser, which is Irish made, Irish sourced and so so needed. Perfect for makeup storage or craft storage and I’d say they’ll fly off the shelves…just have a look for yourself => Alainn by Sinead
Emma Burke from beautynook.ie
Gemma Burke is always so so honest. She just says it as it is and isn’t afraid to say she doesn’t like something. She is just one of those real down to earth, genuine girls and I always enjoy her Snaps. I love hearing her thoughts on new releases and seeing what her must haves are. I love her website and layout and hope some day mine will be even half as good as hers.
Niamh Cleary aka NCMakeup
If you’re following me for awhile, you’ll know I have huge admiration for Niamh Cleary, Waterford’s own Queen of Inglot!!!! She is a self taught makeup artist who started out doing freelance and quickl got snapped up by Inglot in Waterford. She is now a Pro Team Member and actually made the finalists for their very 1st awards in the category, “Inglot Pro Team Member of the Year” and is in with a chance to win designing her very own palette!!!! Do make sure you give her a vote….her makeup skills are crrrrrrrazy! On Snapchat she is always so positive and bubbly. An incredibly driven and hard working girl, there are only good things on her horizon. You can vote for Niamh here => Inglot Awards
Collette Griffin is a fantastic makeup artist based in Queen in Waterford while also doing freelance. She is hugely popular for weddings and is probably one of the most sought after mua’s for bridal makeup in the south east. Not only is she ridiculously talented but the girl is HILARIOUS on Snapchat!!! She always has me in the knots laughing. What you see really is what you get. There’s no bullshit. She shares photos of her work, often does really easy to follow tutorials and gives her opinions on lots of products from makeup to skincare.
Lyndsey Kelly, owner of Queen by Lyndsey Kelly
My one and only hairdresser on my list. Lyndsey kelly is one of the most creative hairdressers, a real life wizard when it comes to hair. Her use of hairpieces, extensions, backcombing, colouring is really something to witness. her snaps would make you want to book her every weekend! Just have a look at her soacial media and you’ll know exactly what I mean. She runs a salon, Queen, in the heart of Waterford city made up of hairdressers and makeup artists. Their motto, “is to make you feel good, have fun and look fabulous. Your hair is your crown.”

She has lots of experience in the industry, she worked with Urban Decay before going out on her own and is now based in Colm Morrisey’s Hair Studio in Tramore, Waterford. Another makeup artist that is in HUGE demand for weddings, she creates some stunning looks. I loooooove her short little Instagram videos, she makes it look so easy. Lucy Bradley aka LBMakeup
Lucy Bradley is a self taught makeup artist, her makeup looks are flawaless and her highlight is ALAWAYS poppin’. I love following her Snaps for her realness, honesty and tutorials. She is super honest when it comes to reviewing products and will never say something is good just for the sake of it. She is very funny and always makes me laugh. She recently got her Beauty Specialist Diploma from college and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her…she is DEFINITELY one to watch. I guarantee you will be seeing and hearing a lot more of this girl.
Jodi Roche is like a real life doll! She is a self taught makeup artist from Dungarvan in Waterford and when you start following her you won’t want to stop. A beautiful and bubbly personality that always tells it how it is. She is a freelance makeup artist and when she’s free between clients and college she often does makeup tutorials, and they’re always real easy to follow. She’s an absolute joy to watch.
Matte To Metallic from mattetometallic.com
Matte to Metallic was the first account I ever followed on Snapchat and I still love following them to this day. Made up of makeup artist duo Jennifer Donohoe and Ciara Clinton, these two girls are best friends who run their own makeup academy. Talk about living the dream! They have very loyal followers and that’s because not only are they incredibly hard working and talented but they have no notions about themselves or think they are above anybody else. They are humble and so supportive of other makeup artists in the industry. I admire them a lot.
Lucy Fitzgibbon is a self taught makeup artist from Limerick. I love following her and her story because she is very quickly on the rise within the makeup industry and it’s so nice to follow her journey and see good things happen for her. And believe me there’s more come. Her makeup skills are unreal and it’s no surprise she recently won, “Best Newcomer” at the Gossie’s. Lucy also made the finalists in the Inglot Awards in the category, “Rising Star,” to vote => Inglot Awards A genuinely lovely and bubbly girl, she’s a ray of sunshine on Snapchat.
Jade Mullet is fast becoming a name everybody knows. A super skillful makeup artist from Wexford, I love following her on Snapchat and seeing the looks she creates. She is also very funny and always puts a smile on my face. She has worked on many celebrities including Rosanna Davison and Jessica Rose and recently was nominated in the Gossie’s in the category, “Best Celebrity Makeup Artist.” She is so creative with makeup that Three Ireland asked her to design three signature looks for the Longitude Festival last year and they were flawless.
Amy from shapesandshadows.com
Amy Melia, from Dublin, has a personal blog, Shapes and Shadows, that covers beauty, lifestyle and fashion. She does brilliant makeup tutorials on Snapchat and gives great reviews on products, and doesn’t hold anything back. Recently, she organised a fantastic event, The Big Beauty Bash, in aid of Make a Wish Ireland, and raised €7,000. She’s an absolute credit to herself.

She covers everything from makeup, skincare and fashion. I love her sense of style. She’s an absolute sweetheart!
Julie Murphy from Deigner Desires on a Penney’s Budget
Julie Murphy runs the highly popular Facebook page, Designer Desires on A Penney’s Budget. I think it’s fair to say everyone loves Penney’s and there are sooooo many pages now based around Penney’s and my favourite one to follow out of all of them is Julie’s. On Snapchat, she puts up the latest arrivals from different departments including women, kids and beauty. I love seeing what’s in Penney’s before going in for myself and screen-shotting my favourites.
